Frequently Asked Questions
Answers about joining, preparing assessments, marking, reports and school setup.
What is QuizzoLand?
QuizzoLand helps schools prepare quizzes, exams and competitions, run them with classes and review student answers and progress in a school-branded workspace.
Who uses the platform?
School administrators organise classes, teachers and student records. Teachers prepare and run assessments for their assigned classes. Students join with their own codes and answer the questions.
Do students need an email address?
No. Students use the activity code from their teacher and a private 8-digit student code provided by the school.
Does the teacher choose when to start?
Yes. Students confirm their details and wait. The teacher checks readiness and starts the assessment for the class.
Can one activity be used with several classes?
Yes. A teacher can assign an activity to several of their classes. Each class has a separate activity code, session, participant list and results.
Can the school prepare a common grade assessment?
Yes. School administrators prepare the content and assign selected classes and teachers. Each teacher runs their own class session.
Can teachers save drafts and copy activities?
Yes. Save unfinished work and continue later, or copy one of your activities into a new draft to edit.
Which question types are available?
There are 15 types: single choice, true or false, multiple correct choices, fill in the blanks, numerical answers, matching, ordering, sorting, short writing, essays, diagram labels, image hotspots, drawing, file or photo submissions, and spoken responses.
How are answers marked?
Questions with defined answer keys are marked automatically using the teacher’s settings. Writing, drawings, uploaded work and audio responses go to the teacher for marking and feedback.
Which timing options can teachers choose?
Set one time limit for the whole activity, the same limit for each question, or an individual limit for each question. Navigation and returning to questions follow the assessment settings.
When can students see their results?
The teacher chooses manual release or release after the activity. Work that needs teacher marking must be reviewed before final results are released. Answer keys are not shown during an active assessment.
Does QuizzoLand support English and Arabic?
Yes. The interface supports English and Arabic, with the appropriate reading direction. Teachers can write questions in either or both languages.
Are progress reports and PDFs available?
Yes. Review class results, individual answers and assessment history, then export student PDF reports with your school’s identity. The overall history score is separate from a school-defined term grade.
Can students share tablets or computers?
Yes. Each student checks their own details before entering. End the session after use, then let the next student enter their own codes.
What happens if the connection drops?
Saving and connection indicators show the current status. Answers already received remain recorded; saved drafts on the same device can be retried when the connection returns, subject to the activity deadline. The teacher can review recovery requests and grant extra time where appropriate.
Can we use our school’s name and crest?
Yes. Your school identity appears in the workspace, student screens and exported reports.
How do we discuss a school package?
Email hello@quizzoland.com or use the contact page to prepare an enquiry. The starting package includes 20 teacher accounts, with additional accounts available by agreement. We discuss your school’s needs and simultaneous assessment use before proposing a package.
